ABOUT SINTERED SURFACES
What is Sintered Stone?
Sintering is the process by which heat and compression convert powder to hard mass. While we see this process in nature in the creation of granite, sintered stone mimics this process, but comprises different materials which results in a stronger, non-porous slab engineered to last.
Slab size: 3.2 x 1.6m in 6mm and 12mm thickness, and suitable for both interior and exterior installation. Finishes available include glossy, matt and tectured.
Sintered Stone are true innovators in the industry, bringing style together with clever engineering.
What Makes Sintered Surfaces Stone Different?
Sintered Surfaces took time to perfect their recipe to make the product the easiest to cut, and lightly flexible, which prevents cracking. The slabs are engineered to be lighter than others’ available in the market.
6mm slabs have mesh backing on all their colours to make the slabs stronger, especially useful when cutting around hobs and sinks on countertops.
Marble colours are high definition, with a 3-D look, to look just like real marble, and very realistic to the touch. All marble colours are available in “glossy” finish, which is perfect for matching with marble flooring.
The only company in this sector to achieve Benefit Corp certification for environmental consciousness. The materials used are sustainable, and manufactured using 100% solar power and 100% recycled water.
Additionally, Sintered Surfaces are dedicated to the product’s longevity, and utilise specialised technical materials to ensure correct installation every time, as well as a full-time technician available to answer any customer questions.
